Another successful methane barrier membrane installation…

November 2, 2011

Early morning inspection of Tremco’s VaporLock M methane barrier membrane for an elementary school in Carson, CA.

Testing of the site showed no methane gas concentrations in the soil, however the school board volunteered to install the barrier system as a safety measure to “mitigate” future risk and liability.

The membrane is being installed under the new classroom building.

In order to meet the client’s needs and owner demands, we provided soil gas testing services as well the design of the entire methane mitigation system design for the Fern Elementary School.
