Great time meeting up with everyone in Northern California last week!

May 28, 2012

We spent the end of last week meeting with several existing and potential clients in San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, California.

Our first visit was with Lusardi Construction Company (in their Dublin/San Francisco Bay area offices).  Lusardi has built several buildings over landfills as of late and they have a wealth of knowledge relative to the “constructability” of different system designs. There are several potential construction projects that we may be able to help Lusardi with— in the very near future.

We also made sure to stop in and visit with our old friends at Iris Environmental in Oakland. Terra-Petra has successfully served as a Methane/Vapor Intrusion Mitigation consultant to Iris Environmental on several projects throughout California. We took the opportunity to discuss tactical approaches to meet the demands of an ongoing project we have with Iris in Southern CA.

We were also able to spend a little time with Prologis in their offices near the Ferry Building in San Francisco. As a high-profile developer,  Prologis takes environmental liability seriously. To that end, they have relied on our knowledge of the methane and vapor intrusion mitigation to decide the proper means and methods for protecting the company’s various developments.

Our last meeting of the week was with Gensler Architects. We had a great experience when we worked with Gensler’s Los Angeles office on the methane mitigation system design for the Ritz Carlton Hotel at LALive! in Downtown Los Angeles. So we decided to reach out to the company’s San Francisco office. Looks like there may be some up coming opportunities for us to work together very soon.
